Singha beer brings Thai new year to the Capital

Londoners can immerse themselves in the sights, sounds and tastes of Thailand as Singha Beer [pronounced ‘sing’] teams up with Shuttlecock- Inc to host an immersive dining experience for Thai New Year (Songkran).

The two day event, taking place during Thai New Year (14th – 15th April), will bring the water festival of Songkran and the bustling streets of Chiang Mai to one location at Carousel Spaces, London. Guests will be transported to the Northern Thai city with a celebratory evening of food, drink, sights and sounds of South East Asia at Thai New Year, which sees the people of Thailand take to the streets to participate in a nationwide water festival.

On arrival, guests will be given a warm Thai welcome and guided through the capital’s newest, foodie pop-up and cultural experience. Encouraged to relax and leave the busy working day at the door, visitors will become travellers for the evening as they embark on a multi-sensory dining experience.

Guests will enter a bustling Chiang Mai street, with shops, bars and street stalls in abundance. They will have the chance to meet the local characters in the area and enjoy three Thai dishes from central, northern and southern regions, alongside a refreshing Singha Beer.

visitors can dance the evening away to traditional Thai music and join in with the countdown to Thai New Year with a surprise installation inspired by the traditional Songkran sprinkling of water.
