SSE appoints Synergy as Commonwealth partner

SSE has appointed Synergy Sponsorship as its lead agency for the management of their sponsor activity for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games. SSE selected Synergy, following a competitive pitch, to advise on the strategy and activation of its Glasgow 2014 partnership, which was announced in July 2012.
As a Proud Partner of Glasgow 2014, SSE is committed to supporting the Games and offering opportunities to customers, staff and the general public to join in and support their home nation.
Wendy Barbour, SSE director of Commonwealth Games and sponsorship, said: “We are very proud to be associated with Glasgow 2014. Having customers and employees in Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland, we are really looking forward to helping make these Games come alive for them and their communities. As experts in their field, Synergy will be instrumental to helping us make this happen.”
