Strongbow and Red Stripe grow their music credentials via Brits

Strongbow and Red Stripe have announced they will be official cider and beer partners of the UK’s most anticipated music event of the year, The BRIT Awards 2020 with Mastercard. The event is due to be hosted by Jack Whitehall at the O2 on 18th February.

Both Strongbow and Red Stripe have a rich heritage in music through celebrating and supporting its ability to bring people of all walks of life together. The announcement as drinks partners of the 40th show of this annual popular music awards is the perfect start to what is looking to be exciting year for both brands.

Strongbow has a long and vibrant history supporting musical talent, from the hugely successful Strongbow Yard activation at some of the UKs most prestigious festivals, to their latest TV campaign that celebrates the role that music plays in bringing people together in their local pub.

It’s also a big year for Strongbow, with some exciting new product launches including Strongbow Dark Fruit 0.5%. This year Strongbow will continue to celebrate the power of music to bring people together whatever the occasion with its ‘Refreshing the Nation’ campaign. As well as the sponsorship of The BRITs, there will be a new TV campaign featuring a brand-new musical collaboration, as well as an initiative to help pubs up and down the country to host their own music nights.

Red Stripe, the original Jamaican lager beer served in the iconic stubby bottle since 1928. In the UK, Red Stripe has been a firm part of the music scene for many years from sound system roots to Notting Hill Carnival, grassroots gigs to music festivals, you can be sure to find a cold Red Stripe in the hands of seasoned artists and newcomers alike. This year Red Stripe will be spreading some much needed Jamaican optimism around the UK in their new campaign… Good Things To Come.
