Luxury supercars descended on Meadowhall on Saturday 3rd September to raise money for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, which cares for children and young adults with a shortened life expectancy and a range of complex medical needs, and their families.
Promoting the charity’s supercar experience, members of the Supercar Driver club and the Sporting Bears offered an unforgettable experience and photographs with their supercars in exchange for a donation to Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice. JCT600, John Holland Car Sales and Sytner BMW Sheffield also brought a range of supercars to join the line up.
Meadowhall events manager, Alex Caley commented: “It was an unbelievable day, the range of cars was breath-taking. It is something to see one or two nice cars on the road but this was luxury in a league all of its own.”
Julie Hampson, corporate fundraiser for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, said: “Supercar Driver have sup
ported Bluebell Wood for the last five years and have raised over £30,000. Saturday’s tally adds over £6,500 to that total which is fantastic news for both the staff and all the families who we support. To see that many desirable cars all in one place really was a spectacular sight. We are very grateful for all the donations we receive, and it is events such as these which help keep our doors open so thank you to everyone involved.”
