Westfield promises award winning Music Cube will return

Westfield’s in-house Events and Entertainment Team recently won the ‘Commercial Markets & Events’ Prize at the annual BCSC Opal Awards for their innovative live music festival called Music Cube. A popular shopper attraction, Music Cube is now promised as a returning attraction to Westfield later this year.

Music Cube, launched in October 2014, was produced by Westfield to revolutionise the way consumers experience live music, offering talent and fans the chance to interact with each other like never before.

Artists and bands performed live in a bespoke sound proof glass cube complete with LED surround, to music fans who are plugged in to headphones on the air-blast vibrating floor system, giving audiences a chance to discover music both physically and virtually.

The Opal Awards recognise great activations and innovative thinking in how brands maximise the unique commercial opportunities within shopping centres.
