The Silverstone Wing named a finalist in the sports business awards

The Silverstone Wing, Silverstone Circuit’s premier Conference and Exhibition Centre over-looking the F1 Pit and Paddock, is a finalist in the Best Non-Sporting Use of the Venue in the Sports Business Awards.

The Wing boasts over 10,000sqm of event space, including five main event halls, designed to hold a multitude of events, with versatile layouts, floor-to-ceiling glass facades providing views over the circuit and numerous mezzanine areas. The Wing also has an International Media Centre, which can be split into smaller suites; the Business Centre with 7 breakout rooms; a purpose-built auditorium, the Pit Garages situated underneath the halls of The Wing covering 5768sqm and substantial outdoor space.

Completed in 2011, The Silverstone Wing has played host to a l number of non-motorsport events, with clients including Amazon, Argos, BMW, Mercedes, Tesco, Stanley Back and Decker, Fleet World, Volvo, Leading Hotels of the World, Mac Tools, Boden, Crew Clothing, and Ford.
