Breast Cancer Care to debut live streaming for October fundraiser

The Breast Cancer Care Show London in association with Dorothy Perkins takes place on October 4th, and will be streamed to Facebook Live using Grabyo

Breast Cancer Care has partnered with video production platform Grabyo to live stream its annual fundraising fashion show to Facebook Live for the very first time.

Partnering with Grabyo and Facebook Live, Breast Cancer Care is able to make use of the platform’s native donate button, encouraging viewers to contribute by providing a seamless way for viewers to donate to the charity.

The Breast Cancer Care Show London 2018 starts at 9:15pm on October 4th and will be streamed to Facebook Live from the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel in London.

The event, hosted by Claudia Winkleman in the afternoon and Victoria Derbyshire in the evening, features 31  models, all of whom have had a breast cancer diagnosis, to show that you can still look amazing and feel fabulous. The event also includes performances by Alexandra Burke and The Overtones.

By live streaming to social media, Breast Cancer Care looks to increase the reach of its event and engage more potential donors through the use of engaging live video.

Social media users are consistently watching more live video for longer on such platforms. Live social video brings communities together; audiences can interact with one other while watching to share their thoughts and discuss the video they are watching, which creates a more memorable experience, leading to longer watch times and increased participation.

Tickets are still on sale to attend the The Show London 2018 tickets are still on sale and can be purchased online.
