Seasoned field marketing expert, Dan Mayer, has joined leading retail display installation expert, CJ Retail Solutions, as its new field marketing business unit director.
Bringing a wealth of knowledge to the role, Dan has worked on many strategic field teams in a range of sectors including food, technology, groceries, traditional high streets and retail parks.
Commenting on CJ Retail Solutions and his new appointment, Dan said: “CJ Retail Solutions is a great company and what attracted me to it most, was its belief in the importance of people and its clients. Its teams truly understand that building strong lasting relationships, with both staff and clients is paramount,and that’s an ethos I share too.
“I’m eager to use my expertise to grow and develop the CJ Retail Solutions field marketing offering, but more importantly, to utilise all CJ Retail Solutions’ services to give clients a unique solution that not only helps them get their displays in place, but also closes the loop, ensuring products interact further with consumers, and that sales are maximised.”
Since beginning his career in field marketing over 20 years ago, Dan has seen first-hand the many changes within the sector, but he believes the key to future success for high street bricks and motor retailers lies in better understanding of what drives customers.
He added: “After a few years of the industry taking a bit of a hit, as retail client spend went elsewhere, it’s great to see the industry prospering again. I’m a massive believer in the high street and I’m confident there will always be a need for bricks and mortar retailers even in this increasingly more digitally focused world. However, the task for high street retailers will lie in creating compelling in-store experiences to draw customers in.
“The reality is, internet data can only drive you so far, but the real-time view of retail estate, competitor activity and insights direct from consumers, is priceless.”
In his new role, Dan will be responsible for building a field marketing division within CJ Retail Solutions, which will help the company provide its customers with even higher levels of customer care and support.
