Independent creative agency Impero is announcing the appointment of Emily Winterbourne to the role of MD.
Starting in September 2019, Winterbourne joins the agency from FCB Inferno, where she was CMO.
This position is new to the agency’s senior structure and the appointment comes on the back ofa spectacular growth phase for Impero – 40% revenue growth in two years (doubling its target) and a pitch-win rate of 70%. The agency is looking to grow its turnover during this financial year by 30%.

Winterbourne has been at FCB Inferno for nine years, where she rose through the ranks in new business and marketing roles.Speaking about her appointment, she said, ‘I am thrilled to be taking on the MD role at Impero and this is a fantastic time to join the agency.
