Highjam launches an annual conference

Agency Highjam, has just launched its Annual Networking Conference for Entrepreneurial Businesses & Marketers, an event that was specifically developed to give new start up brands and marketers the chance to meet and hear from some of Highjam’s customers that have had success over the last few years.

Kate Roche, director at Highjam has overseen the development of the event. “Each year we meet so many new start up brands, many of which we really believe in and support. However as most are just starting out, still gaining listings and growing their brand we felt that perhaps the best support we could give them was to put them in touch with some of our customers who have already found success. And so the idea for our Annual Networking Conference was born.

For our inaugural event we hosted an all women line up, supporting the need to increase the profile of key female Event and Marketing professionals in the UK. We have been lucky enough to find support in The IPM, as their new managing director Jodie Hopperton chaired the event. And our all-female line of up speakers included key figures from Fever-Tree, Pod Food and Balance Me.”

The full conference can be viewed online via https://vimeo.com/highjamuk/shareandinspire – And here’s a taster of what was revealed:

–          Hear from Balance Me as they talk about their unique & successful retail and media partnerships with Waitrose & Harper’s Bazaar

–          How Fever Tree gained cut through for their brand through successful event co-promotions with spirit partners

–          How Pod Food managed the important early days in their new partnership with Starbucks

2014 has been a busy year for Highjam. Not only have they launched their Annual Networking Conference, they have also grown their services to include Events and Talent divisions to complement their core offering of Experiential and Promotional Marketing services.

Laura Walton, Founder of Highjam comments: “Highjam has had a real growth year, not only with Kate Roche joining as a company director and turning five, but also with the development and growth of our two newest divisions; Events and Talent. From listening to our customers’ needs we identified a real need to develop our offering in these sectors, not only to support our existing customers but also to increase our client base.”

Laura comments further, “We’re investing in these new divisions to push the boundaries of live activity and make our campaigns work as hard as possible. Our goal is to build a range of services that complement each other and work seamlessly together, giving our clients the support and expertise they require to grow their businesses”
