intu delivers half-term fun with Snoopy and Charlie Brown: The Peanuts Movie

This month, intu’s 15 branded centres will be delivering a brand immersion campaign to promote the Snoopy and Charlie Brown: The Peanuts Movie, ahead of its release on December 21.

“Earlier this year we delivered the first national UK shopping centre brand immersion campaign for the launch of animated film, Home. It was a great success and we’re really looking forward to delivering another fantastic campaign to promote Snoopy and Charlie Brown: The Peanuts Movie,” said Roger Binks customer experience director of intu.

“Our strong brand and national scale allows us to form great partnerships with top brands to deliver truly compelling experiences for our customers, encouraging them to visit more often and stay longer to enjoy the free family fun on offer. Our consistent calendar of events sprinkled with that intu difference helps us to drive footfall and create an environment for retailers and businesses to flourish.”

The Snoopy activation includes sponsorship of all intu’s Kid’s Club activities throughout the month of October. Customers visiting any intu shopping centre during this period will find a variety of entertaining Snoopy themed activities including Snoopy Selfies, Snoopy’s Pumpkin Patch, Finger Knitting, T-Shirt Decorating and Peppermint Patty’s Pamper Station for all the little ladies. As well as all that and more, the campaign will include competitions with the chance to win prize bundles full of movie goodies. This immersive campaign also includes ambient media, interactive plasma screens, and in keeping with intu’s established digital presence, is brought to life online with campaign specific event pages, email marketing and engaging social media content.

intu will further promote Snoopy and Charlie Brown: The Peanuts Movie, through an additional experiential tour taking place at intu Trafford Centre, intu Merry Hill, intu Braehead and intu Metrocentre during November. These include even more family centric activities such as a customer character meet and greet and ‘green screen’ photo fun.
