Kinetic and Grand Visual create DOOH buyer’s guide online

Kinetic Worldwide and Grand Visual have fully-digitised the annual Digital Out Of Home Guide which they first published in 2009.

The new site, which launches today, offers users a comprehensive insight into the UK’s most significant DOOH sites, all in the same place online for the first time, with tailored descriptions on the unique benefits of each format.

The handbook includes a user-friendly catalogue listing technical specs, key audiences, rate card costs and specific capabilities of sites which offer gesture recognition and audio.

The guide, written, researched and produced by Kinetic with support from Grand Visual, includes video footage of the most eminent sites, and will be updated throughout the year with new formats and opportunities that come to market. The site is accessible to all users via a secure login.

Jennifer Evans, Kinetic marketing manager, said: “This sixth annual digital out-of-home guide has taken our popular guide to the next level. This is the first time that planners, agencies and media owners will have direct access to details of the majority of the UK’s DOOH sites, on the one comprehensive website.

“As DOOH ad revenue jumped 30 per cent in the last quarter, the largest quarterly revenue increase ever recorded for the sector (OMC), this is the perfect time to launch this unique and valuable resource for the industry.”

Claire Wright, media manager at MediaCom, commented: “Vitally, in a work day that is extremely time precious, the launch of a dedicated digital OOH website will enable us to efficiently keep up-to-date with the ever-changing digital OOH landscape, one of the fastest growing mediums of the last five years – I have it already bookmarked.”

Neil Morris, founder and managing director of Grand Visual, added: “The speed at which digital out of home media has developed has meant there was a clear need to have an interactive, online guide. It allows us to update new formats and sites and showcase technology like augmented reality, real-time feeds and consumer connectivity with interactive screens. The Handbook is a unique resource enabling advertisers to understand and take advantage of the technology platforms and this growing medium.” The site,
