Mash Staffing gains preferred supplier status at Banqueting House

Mash Staffing has been engaged as the preferred supplier of event staff to Banqueting House, Whitehall, which is cared for by independent charity Historic Royal Palaces.

Ranging from weddings and functions, to conferences, dinners and parliamentary receptions, Banqueting House is home to a number of high-profile events, welcoming guests over the course of the year from all over the world – and Mash are delighted to have been selected as their preferred event staffing partner for 2014-15.

Having made a conscious decision to move into the corporate event and hospitality space in 2012 after almost a decade in promotional staffing, Mash have rapidly grown in scope and capability – but the prestigious Banqueting House contract, at a venue which has been welcoming guests since 1622, offers Mash their first opportunity to demonstrate their ability to work in a retained capacity.

Given the historic surroundings, a pool of staff have been hand picked from Mash’s book of corporate hospitality staff and specifically trained to provide the right balance of knowledge, professionalism, and presentation to work regularly at Banqueting House.

Speaking of the appointment, Petra Bones, head of Banqueting House, functions & events at Historic Royal Palaces, said: “I’m pleased to announce that Mash Staffing have secured the contract with us to supply hospitality staff to work as an extension of my existing team on our clients’ events and to help ensure every event has a smooth and professional operation”.
