Moonpig delivers a flower garden in the City

Moonpig, the online card, flower and gift retailer, unveiled their Moonpig ‘Flower Garden’ at London’s One New Change shopping precinct last week.

The activity, proposed and managed by experiential agency House of Experience, showcased the brand’s range of bouquets in a garden setting alongside a photo booth ‘confession shed’.

Consumers who entered the shed to confess were invited to write on their photo, naming someone they needed to thank, say sorry to, or simply say ‘I love you’ to, and pin this to a confession wall. The best admissions from the activity will have their confessions granted with a free flower delivery, celebrating the hashtag #MoonpigMoments.

Throughout the day Moonpig gardeners gave away flowers from the brand’s range, including the bouquets that made up the garden. The garden experience will move to Kent’s Bluewater Shopping Centre over the weekend.

A Twitter competition is supporting the event, giving people the chance to win a bouquet if they tweet @MoonpigUK naming who deserves a beautiful bouquet, with the hashtag #MoonpigMoments.

Armelle Guillet, Moonpig’s customer experience director said, We were really excited by the proposal put together by House of Experience and knew it could be a really engaging experience for Moonpig customers new and existing. We wanted to explore the power of experiential and are confident that the Moonpig Flower Garden will increase brand and product awareness whilst surprising and delighting the public in central London and Kent, with the overarching aim to promote our beautiful and ever-increasing flower range.

Oliver Burgoyne, House of Experience client services director said, We are eager to demonstrate the rewards experiential activity can provide to a brand such as Moonpig, and feel the Flower Garden is a great launch pad for the brand. We look forward to working with the team to create many more engaging experiences in the future.
