SpaceandPeople announces agreement with Grand Central Birmingham

SpaceandPeople, the leading international destination media and retail solutions specialist, has announced that it has signed an exclusive commercialisation contract with Grand Central Birmingham, due to open in September 2015.

The opening of Grand Central and its flagship John Lewis store will coincide with the completion of Birmingham New Street Station which will transform rail travel for millions of passengers and provide a unique shopping and station experience. Many of the shops, restaurants and cafes already confirmed for the scheme will be new to the city, with an emphasis on premium, quality high street retail and international dining.

Richard Brown, development director at Grand Central Birmingham said of the agreement “Grand Central is a significant element of Birmingham’s redevelopment. It will become the magnet for quality shopping in the area and we are looking forward to working with SpaceandPeople to place great experiential, promotional and on-mall retail activity into the venue to engage shoppers and further enhance the visitor experience.”
