Trovr hires Irv as its reverse vending gets set to go live at UK festivals

Trovr has hired Ian ‘Irv’ Irving for Global Marketing Director role. trovr is a unique sustainability focused marketing communications business that makes ‘recycling for rewards’ a brand-aligned commercial opportunity. trovr has secured high profile new business in summer 2022 with a major supermarket group hosting its Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs) at Live Nation music festivals.

The machines will reward those who use them to recycle at the festivals with discounts and spot prizes. The activation is similar in concept to a previous one by Trovr for retailer Spinneys with Pepsico in the UAE. (Spinneys, PepsiCo partner to promote recycling in the UAE – Gulf Business) where reverse vending was rewarded with discounted bus travel.
