Warsteiner wins at Woburn

Golf fans saw records broken at the British Masters in Woburn as Matt Fitzpatrick, who at the age of 21 made him the youngest player in the field; was crowned champion with his first professional title win.

Throughout the event running from the 8th to the 11th of October ,over 57,000 supporters were kept refreshed with Warsteiner beer on draft both in the bars and also with beer caddies, strategically placed around the course. Over the 4 day event, almost half a million were also reached by Warsteiner’s #beerofgolf signifier on Twitter, including competition winners who won tickets to the event.

Warsteiner was available as the exclusive beer in hospitality as well as in the clubhouse.

Alongside their beer sponsorship, Warsteiner invited key customers and guests to enjoy the British Masters experience. Promotional staff also engaged the Woburn crowds as they arrived through the gates of Milton Keynes Central Station with free Warsteiner golf merchandise.
