Warwick Davis heads for FMBE Awards 2014

This year, on 23rd October, at Troxy, Limehouse, FMBE awards presents ‘Storytelling: Shades of Light and the Dark Arts” a celebration of the how brands engage people with their stories, compelling them to retell the tale. The evening will be hosted by actor and presenter Warwick Davis.

Britain is a hotbed of creative storytelling talent. From James Bond to Harry Potter or Robinson Crusoe to Beatrix Potter we have entranced global audiences with our ability to tell engaging tales and this culture underpins a world leading sales, marketing and advertising industry.

In the best stories the hero emerges into the light from darkness and villainy and this year FMBE will celebrate this with a reception to the dark and mysterious on our way to the unveiling of this year’s golden award winning case histories.

Helping us to get from dark to light is a superstar of cinema and the small screen, Warwick Davis,  the boy who watched Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader in Start Wars agog with excitement before taking to the same set as his superheroes a few years later in Return of the Jedi.

Announcing Warwick Davis’s leading role at this year’s FMBE, award’s director Frank Wainwright comments: “Warwick, Professor Flitwick to some, Willow to others, or as a fictional version of himself in Life is Short, is an actor who the finest storytellers can rely on. We are very excited that he has agreed to present our industry’s big night.”

Frank continues “We are supporting Warwick with an exceptional line up of talents from dark arts’ mind readers, fortune tellers, voodoo musicians and magicians through to dancers and live music to light up our party.”

Frank concludes, “There is so much for our industry to celebrate. On the night we will emerge into the light of our renowned networking party. Make sure you bring a stay late pass.”

The FMBE Awards 2014 is already nearly sold out. Please book ASAP to avoid disappointment.
