WRG targets healthcare sector from new Philadelphia office

WRG, the live communication agency, will open an office in Philadelphia this week as it builds on a history of success in the healthcare sector and embarks on an ambitious growth strategy.

Bringing deep pharmaceutical insight, intelligent creativity and 25-years live communication expertise to North America, WRG will use the agency’s philosophy of Create Unforgettable that is already valued by clients in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

“I’m delighted to announce the opening of our Philadelphia office”, said Jim Faulds, chairman of WRG. “Our offer is perfect for today’s Healthcare market and the reason we’ve seen our sector revenue grow by £6.5m during the past 12-months. The prospects for 2014 are even more exciting.”

WRG delivered 10% of its turnover in North America last year, including work for long-standing clients AstraZeneca and Alcon.

The Philadelphia team, initially six-strong, will be led by Graeme Beavers, Vice President WRG North America. Beavers said: “A number of global Pharmaceutical companies are headquartered nearby. It’s the perfect location to build deep relationships with clients old and new. We love close collaboration, it achieves the best results”.

WRG will be located on Philadelphia’s vibrant South Broad Street. Often known as the Avenue of Arts due to the neighbouring theatres and the nearby Academy of Fine Arts and Academy of Music. It is the ideal location for an agency that inspires audiences around the world
