Blackjack Promotions links with UK online meeting space finder HeadBox

HeadBox, the UK’s first online network for creative, inspiring and off-site meeting spaces, has named Blackjack Promotions as its recommended provider of event staff.

Blackjack will now feature in the ‘Friends of HeadBox’ section on the online company’s website and will feature in HeadBox’s member communications.

Andrew Needham, CEO of HeadBox, says: “We aim for HeadBox to be the global go-to platform for bringing people and spaces together all in one place to make brilliant things happen. We want to change the way people think about space, unlocking people’s imagination to the different uses and applications of space and what incredible things can be created, made, experienced and achieved within the right space. With partners of the calibre of Blackjack on board, we’re well on the way to delivering on that commitment.”

Fiona Tindall, head of domestic retail at Blackjack Promotions, says: “HeadBox is a brilliant high-tech solution to the challenge of finding the sort of meeting spaces that leverage people’s inner creativity. But there’s a human element to every meeting, and we’re delighted to partner with HeadBox to provide their clients with the right people to make their meetings run smoothly.”

HeadBox, dubbed the ‘Airbnb for meeting space’, offers event organisers a fast and simple way of finding and booking unique spaces for work related events; at the same time, it allows owners of under-utilised space to potentially earn some extra revenue.

During 2016, after moving from Beta to full operation, HeadBox expanded from its London base to add Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol and Liverpool.

Companies including Google, BBC, Dentsu Aegis, Diageo, JC Decaux, BBH, L’Oreal and many others are using HeadBox to search, book and pay for spaces ranging from galleries, cafes, theatres, cinemas, creative and photographic studios to churches, boats and tree houses.
