Blitz|GES invests in Barco High Brightness 4K UHD projectors

Blitz|GES, audio visual provider to live events, has bolstered its fleet with an investment in six Barco HDX 4K20 FLEX projectors.
Designed for large-scale events, the cutting edge 4K projector presents a huge leap in projection picture quality.
The technology allows for projection in resolutions up to 3840 x 2400 pixels – around four times sharper than a 1080p HD projector and at a similar resolution to a premium cinema screen. This offers event organisers the opportunity to use much larger screens at their events for more impactful content, as well as the flexibility of shorter viewing distances, whilst achieving higher image quality.
Blitz|GES purchased the first batch of manufactured projectors, with the first projectors rolling off the production line in early October.

The purchase follows the Blitz|GES investment in widescreen 4K blending technology earlier this year with the expansion of its inventory of Barco E2 screen management systems.
